Cripps Pink is an apple cultivar. It is one of several cultivars from which apples that meet quality standards can be sold under the brand name Pink Lady. Cripps Pink was originally created by John Cripps at the (then called) Western Australia Department of Agriculture by crossing Australian Lady Williams apple with a Golden Delicious; the result is a combination of the firm and long-lasting property of Lady Williams with the sweetness and lack of scald storage of Golden Delicious.
